Thank you for all your love and support over the past 23 months! - The Smith Family
life changes in an instant
Alexandra "Ally" Smith walked out the door on December 28, 2010 in her own happy and carefree way, with a smile on her face and laughter in her heart. On a country road in Sherborn, her life changed in an instant when her car skidded into the path of an oncoming car.
Ally was rushed to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where she was treated for a traumatic brain injury and facial trauma. She had three major surgeries and continued to fight her way back to us. The Alexandra Smith Foundation was formed to provide financial support for Ally's medical and rehabilitation costs.
Ally Smith loved life, laughter, horses, dogs (and all animals), and people too. She worked hard towards her goal of becoming a veterinarian and working with and caring for animals. Read more about Ally Smith and the Alexandra Smith Foundation.
